Weekend Weddings

We require a two-night full Inn booking for weekend weddings that we may devote all of our attention to your special event. Currently the cost is $1995. +tax per night w/full country breakfast. This includes two guests per room in our five rooms and 4 cottages. Additional guests, where possible, are $30. per night.

Grounds

A grounds fee of $35. per guest for your wedding day allows your party exclusive access and usage of the Crystal Barn, Ceremony Garden and all other Inn grounds. Our extensive waterfront and docks, pond and landscaped gardens are perfect backdrops for photos.

Resources

We are fortunate to be able to recommend local talented and sensibly priced resources and vendors or you are welcome to use your own favorites.

Catering

Joanne Rich is an experienced and creative caterer who is willing to work with your ideas and reasonable budget. The results is delicious fare bringing the freshest, best seasonal and local ingredients to the table.

Beverages

The Inn allows you to supply your own alcoholic beverages which is a considerable savings over conventional venues. Also, our coffeehouse Java Rock, has a nice variety of wines that we can supply at excellent prices.

Eco-system

For groups of 50 or more, a comfort station or port a-potties are a necessity as the Inn is part of the fragile Chesapeake ecosystem. We are as ‘green’ as possible.

Large Groups Welcome

We strongly recommend the use of a wedding coordinator for groups of 100 or more. We have a favorite, but you can designate a capable friend for the task as well.
